Chris Grady

Chris Grady is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler where he provides strategic advisory, M&A, capital markets and related services to clients in the insurance industry.

Previously, Grady was head of corporate development and M&A for Marsh McLennan Agency, a subsidiary of Marsh Inc. In his role as head of corporate development, he was primarily responsible for leading strategy, corporate development, principal investment and M&A activity. In his time at Marsh McLennan Agency, Grady completed approximately 80 transactions, including more than 70 acquisitions of insurance distribution firms in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining Marsh McLennan Agency, Grady worked in corporate finance advisory at Ernst & Young, where he was responsible for advising clients in the areas of strategy, valuation, M&A and restructuring. Grady began his career as a quantitative analyst focused on OTC derivatives and other traded products.

Grady holds a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance and corporate accounting from Ithaca College.
