Greg Swartz

Greg Swartz is a senior vice president in the public finance group at Piper Sandler. Since 1990, Swartz’ experience has included state and local government infrastructure finance and general financial management in the states of Georgia, Illinois, Indiana and Arizona. He has worked alongside other Piper Sandler advisors/bankers on more than 200 utility and SRF transactions for over $19.5 billion.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler in 2004, Swartz served as executive director for the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona, as chief financial officer for the Indiana Finance Authority and as a bond issuer for the State of Illinois. In addition to assisting U.S. local governments, Swartz served as a revolving fund and bond bank consultant to Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, the European Union, India, Mexico, Poland, Romania and Russia.

Swartz holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s degree in finance, as well as FINRA Licenses Series 7 (US Securities), Series 50 (Municipal Advisor) and Series 63 (State Law & Securities).
