Community Leadership

Investment in the community

Continuing with its commitment of building vibrant and sustainable communities through foundation and corporate giving, Piper Sandler recently awarded grants to the Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF) and the Neighborhood Development Center (NDC).

The CRF grant of $300,000 will be provided in two installments of $150,000 over two years and will assist CRF in fostering community revitalization projects in underserved geographic areas nationwide.

The NDC grant of $100,000 will also be provided over two years in $50,000 installments. This funding will assist in the continued community sustainability of the Lake Street corridor in Minneapolis and will fund the build-out of the Plaza Verde building.

These two grants support Piper Sandler in its goal of contributing five percent of its pre-tax earnings to the community as a proud member of the Minnesota Keystone Program, a voluntary program promoting corporate support for communities that it helped to found more than 25 years ago.
