Chris O'Brien is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler, where he specializes in trading in the corporate debt and preferred instruments of financial companies.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, O'Brien worked at Keefe Bruyette and Woods in various roles, from financial strategies analyst to managing director/head of corporate sales and trading. He was also previously a managing director at Stifel Financial on the credit/structured trading desk.

O'Brien holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in business from Villanova University.
