Daniel Cullen

Daniel Cullen is a managing director on Piper Sandler’s mortgage trading desk. In this role, he is responsible for trading non-agency residential credit (RMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS) and small business securitizations (SBA/SBAP/SBIC).

Cullen joined Sandler O’Neill in 2011, where he worked in equity research and balance sheet analytics before joining the trading desk in 2012. Prior to joining Sandler O’Neill, Cullen worked as a revenue auditor for Vail Resorts based in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Cullen graduated from Babson College in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in quantitative finance and economics. He also earned a master's degree from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain in 2011, which included a winter session at the Guanghua School of Management in Beijing, China.
