Eric Anderson brings nearly 30 years of public finance experience serving mid-market municipal clients in Illinois, joining Piper Sandler in October of 2015. Anderson provides assistance to issuers contemplating debt issuance, including refunding transactions, tax rate management and debt structuring, as well as feasibility and budget impact analysis. Anderson has structured and originated over $5 billion in various types of public debt since 1993.
Anderson's clients include schools, community colleges, park and fire protection districts, in addition to cities, villages and counties. Anderson has significant experience with and successful workouts of challenged credits, and has represented many of the highest rated units of government in the nation.
Anderson earned both a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northern Illinois University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
