Bill Foster oversees intuitional equity sales trading at Piper Sandler, arriving at the firm through the acquisition of Weeden & Co., where he was president.
Foster joined Weeden’s program trading desk in 2005, having previously worked at UBS for five years as an executive director of global program trading, and at Banco Santander for three years before that, initially as the head of equity technology and later as the creator and head of the program trading offering. Foster works closely with clients to design and implement customized trading strategies, while also helping to formulate and execute the firm’s broader strategic initiatives.
Foster holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Iona College. He is also a member of the National Organization of Investment Professionals (NOIP).
