Jeffrey C. Fivecoat

Jeff Fivecoat joined Piper Sandler in 2015, bringing decades of healthcare and senior living financing expertise into the Piper Sandler public finance team. Fivecoat leads the Piper Sandler healthcare and senior living efforts associated with the USDA Community facilities program. Since 1998, Fivecoat has worked for both healthcare providers and investment banks in the operational finance, debt financing, and treasury areas.

Prior to Joining Piper Sandler, Fivecoat served as an investment banking director focusing on healthcare debt transactions, a director of finance for a large healthcare system and as a financial planning consultant for another large healthcare system.

Fivecoat has extensive experience with traditional forms of taxable and tax-exempt bond issuance and with the USDA and FHA 242 programs. He is also a frequent presenter on capital matters at regional healthcare conferences.

Fivecoat graduated cum laude with honors in economics from Colgate University and has a Master of Business Administration degree from The Ohio State University. Fivecoat holds FINRA Series 7, Series 50, and Series 53 licenses.
