Kent Purcell is a managing director in the financial strategies group at Piper Sandler. In this role, he is responsible for developing software solutions that aid financial institutions in maximizing investment portfolio and overall balance sheet performance.
Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Purcell spent 10 years at Raymond James in their fixed income strategies group, where he helped create various analytical measures, tools and analyses to help drive depository performance. He began his career at Morgan Keegan as a fixed income research analyst in 2008.
Purcell earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and software engineering from Auburn University. He is a CFA charter holder.
