Thomas Wright

Tom Wright is a managing director and oversees the healthcare sector for corporate & venture services. With more than 25 years of experience, Wright has advised hundreds of clients on various financial transactions including concentrated position exit strategies, restricted stock sales, 10b5-1 plans, and hedging and monetization strategies, as well as trading execution for share repurchase programs and ATM’s for corporate clients.

Wright has been a featured speaker at the Piper Sandler/Cooley LLC Venture Capital Roundtable since 2001.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Wright was a director of national sales for institutional investment management at Norwest Investment Management, Inc. where he advised corporations, public funds, and Taft-Hartley plans on portfolio management and asset allocation.

Wright is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and received a bachelor's degree in economics.
