Brad Langner

Brad Langner is a managing director in the hospitality finance investment banking group at Piper Sandler. Langner joined Piper Sandler in 2011 in the public finance investment banking group in Denver. 

He has more than 24 years of investment banking experience with public-private partnerships, large issuers, project financings, and state and local government financings across the nation. Over his career, Langner has served as senior manager on more than $20 billion of long-term taxable and tax-exempt debt, with credit ratings ranging from AAA to B-. He has served as lead or sole underwriter on more than $5 billion of public-private partnerships. Langner has extensive experience structuring project revenue bonds, guiding clients through the credit rating process for both construction and operational phases, and analyzing and structuring sophisticated debt portfolios and cash-flow models.

Before joining Piper Sandler, Langner spent 10 years at JPMorgan. Langner graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kansas and received a master’s degree from the University of Kansas.
