Chad Huber is global co-head of healthcare investment banking. He has more than 20 years experience in life sciences investment banking and equity capital markets, executing private and public company capital raises. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Huber served as global co-head of equity capital markets, where he focused largely on originating and executing equity transactions for life sciences companies. Huber joined Piper Sandler in 2005 as a founding member of the firm’s alternative capital practice. Over his career, Huber has led the origination and execution of initial public offerings (IPOs), confidentially marketed follow-ons (CMFOs), registered directs (RDs) and private investment in public equity transactions (PIPEs). He has book run more than 400 deals since joining the firm in 2005.

Huber joined Piper Sandler from OrbiMed Advisors, where he was a member of the private equity group. He also has previous experience in private client services at Smith Barney and M&A experience at The Arbitrage Fund.

Huber earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology with a concentration in organizational studies from Denison University.
