Chris Broughton

Chris Broughton joined the energy, power & infrastructure investment banking group at Piper Sandler in 2020.

Prior to investment banking, Broughton worked as an engineer for over seven years at several upstream operators, including Devon Energy and ExxonMobil, where he led a variety of planning and execution efforts across U.S. onshore and offshore plays.

Broughton earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
