Demetrios Hadgis is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler.
Previously, Hadgis was a managing director of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, LP., where he was part of the firm’s capital raising group and was responsible for executing capital raises across all product lines for financial institutions. Prior to this, Hadgis spent six years in the financial technology sector, where he oversaw the design and implementation of decision support analytics and electronic trading tools for bond market professionals. During that time, Hadgis spent two years consulting for the Pacific Investment Management Company (“PIMCO”), where he successfully implemented their portfolio management and electronic trading system on which they manage approximately $1.0 trillion in assets.
Hadgis holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in finance from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
