Ed Wall
Ed Wall has served as an underwriter, placement agent or financial advisor to more than half of the cities, counties and authorities in the state of Georgia since he began his career in public finance more than 42 years ago. Experienced in a broad range of sectors including, but not limited to, hospitality, transportation, economic development, water and sewer, gas, industrial development, healthcare, public utilities, airports, public improvement, K-12 education and higher education, Wall has managed more than $28 billion in par amount of municipal bonds.
Wall graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology and began his career at Lex Jolley & Co. Inc. in 1984. He founded Knox Wall & Co. in 1995, which was later purchased by Morgan Keegan, where Wall served as a managing director for 12 years. Wall next worked with Sterne Agee & Leach and Raymond James before joining Piper Sandler in March 2012. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, 50, 53, 63 and 66 licenses.
Wall has volunteered throughout his life in his church and community. He served on the board of MARTA for more than nine years, including as chairman, and served as a citizen member of the Atlanta Regional Commission. He currently serves as chairman of the DeKalb County Pension Board.
