Eric Golynsky joined Piper Sandler in 2022 to co-head the firm’s public finance transportation group. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an executive director at UBS for five years. Golynsky brings over 17 years of transportation finance experience across all modes. He has senior managed nearly $20 billion in financings nationally across a wide range of security structures and product types. For public sector clients, Golynsky focuses on providing innovative financing solutions and efficient capital plans to help deliver on their mission. He also leads engagements with infrastructure investors and developers to deliver best-in-class P3 financing solutions.

Golynsky’s surface transportation experience includes financings for the Texas Department of Transportation, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, New York MTA, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, New York State Thruway Authority, North Texas Tollway Authority, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Chicago Transit Authority, LA County MTA, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Brightline West and Brightline Florida, among others. His past seaport experience includes financings for Port Canaveral, Port of Miami, Port of Beaumont and the Port of Fernandina. Golynsky’s past airport experience includes financings for the DFW Airport, Massport, Indianapolis Airport, Wayne County Airport Authority, Cleveland Airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and the San Diego Airport Authority.

Golynsky graduated with honors from Swarthmore College with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He has also been featured as a speaker at Bond Buyer, IBTTA and P3 conferences.
