Evan Karev

Evan Karev is a managing director in the financial sponsors group at Piper Sandler. In this role, he is focused on originating and executing M&A, debt and equity capital markets, and restructuring transactions for private equity and family office clients in North America.
   
Karev joined Piper Sandler from Deloitte Corporate Finance (DCF), where he led the financial sponsors group nationally. Previously, he was a member of the Life Sciences and Health Care Group at DCF with execution experience in pharmaceutical services, distribution, medical devices, diagnostics, payor services and HCIT. Prior to DCF, Karev served as a Captain in the Army.
   
Karev received his Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from Reichman University. He is also a trained chef, having graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.
