Mark Sandquist

Mark Sandquist is a director in the Piper Sandler private capital advisory group, Aviditi Advisors. With over 20 years of experience across the private markets and having served in both buy and sell side roles, Sandquist brings a deep understanding of the LP and GP landscape with a strong track record of developing partnerships across market cycles.

Sandquist previously served as a director in private markets at Moneta. Before then, he was a director at Raymond James, on their private capital advisory team. Among his earlier roles, Sandquist served as executive director on the private funds advisory team at Moelis & Company, a director at Champlain Advisors and was a principal and co-head of private markets at Summit Strategies.

Sandquist earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, he has Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business. Sandquist is also a CFA Charterholder.
