Matthew Gillaspie is a managing director in the education practice of the public finance group at Piper Sandler. Gillaspie joined Piper Sandler in October of 2000, working in the Iowa public finance group. He has acted as financial advisor, placement agent or underwriter on more than $3.665 billion in financings for Iowa issuers and has participated on panels or as a moderator or instructor at educational conferences organized by the Iowa Superintendents Finance and Leadership Consortium, Iowa Association of School Boards, Iowa School Finance Information Systems, Iowa Association of School Business Officials and others across the state.
Gillaspie is FINRA licensed as a municipal principal and municipal advisor and holds a bachelor's degree from The California State University, Long Beach.
