Michael Garvis

Mike Garvis is a seasoned financial services executive with more than two decades of experience advising corporate executives, investors and institutions. He currently serves as a managing director in the Piper Sandler corporate venture group, a specialty trading platform recognized for its regulatory expertise and tailored execution services for venture capital and private equity firms, high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Prior to his current role, Garvis led the New York sales region at Piper Sandler, where he spent 21 years building deep client relationships and expanding the firm’s footprint across key institutional accounts. Earlier in his career, he spent three years at Merrill Lynch helping drive growth within the Midwest middle market and began his professional journey as a portfolio management associate at SunTrust Bank.

A graduate of Emory University, Garvis is based in New York City and continues to be passionate about delivering trusted advice and thoughtful execution across private and public markets.
