Neil Pritz joined Piper Sandler in 2015 and has over 25 years of experience working in public finance, primarily assiting state and local governments and higher education institutions in the Midwest.

Pritz is responsible for coverage in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and South Dakota, as well as related large governmental jurisdictions. Pritz has senior managed financings for the State of Illinois, State of Ohio, City of Chicago, Chicago Board of Education, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, the Regional Transportation Authority, Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District. Pritz has also served as dealer for Midway Airport auction rate securities, CP dealer for Northwestern University and remarketing agent for the Michigan Finance Authority. He developed the current State University financing system for the six state universities comprising the South Dakota Board of Regents, for whom he serves as senior manager. Additionally, he served as an advisor to Ambac Insurance Company in connection with derisking its portfolio of selected bond issues.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Pritz was a managing director in public finance at BMO Capital Markets, where he worked for nearly seven years. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Banc of America Capital Markets for seven years. Pritz graduated from the University of Chicago.
