Patrick McCormack
Patrick McCormack, M.D., is a managing director in the healthcare investment banking group. McCormack is based in San Francisco and focused on advising biopharma and biotech companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising transactions.
Prior to joining Piper Sandler, McCormack worked at Wells Fargo Securities, where he served as an executive director in biopharma investment banking. Before Wells Fargo, he held senior roles at Goldman Sachs & Co., SVB Leerink and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
McCormack earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine and anesthesiology. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida.
