Sandra Markovic

Sandra Markovic is a managing director in fixed income on the distressed debt and special situations group, based in our New York office. In her role, Markovic sources and closes trades in specialized credit products including distressed assets, trade and insurance claims, reorganized equity and other securities issued by companies facing financial stress, including default or bankruptcy.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Markovic was global head of deal and trade closing at Centerbridge Partners. Previously, she was the head of both U.S. and EMEA trade closing at JPMorgan. Prior to that, she headed up trade closing at Credit Agricole.

Markovic received a master’s degree in economics from Hunter College.
