Scott Keene is a managing director in the public finance investment banking group at Piper Sandler. Keene has been with Piper Sandler since 2019 and currently focuses his public finance efforts on Nebraska higher education institutions, municipalities, school districts, counties and 501(c)(3) organizations. He specializes in providing a full array of financial advisory and investment banking services, including debt structuring, bond refinancings, bond elections and capital improvement planning.
Keene has spent nearly his entire career as a public finance banker with a number of firms in Nebraska since 1989.
Keene earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
