Toby AuWerter

Toby AuWerter is a managing director in the merchant banking group, a member of the general partner and serves on the investment committee. AuWerter is focused on investments in medical device and health tech companies. 

Previously, AuWerter served as investment director at Endeavour Vision, where he invested in growth stage medical device and health tech companies. Prior to Endeavour Vision, he worked at McKinsey & Company out of their Minneapolis office, focused on the pharmaceuticals and medical products practice. AuWerter has extensive experience in medical device and biotech clinical product development and commercialization strategy.

AuWerter has served on the board of, or held board observation responsibility for, the following companies: Kandu, Kestra Medical Technologies, HealthJoy and Nalu Medical.

AuWerter earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a major in healthcare management and a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, with a minor in economics, from Duke University.
