Transaction Summary
Piper Sandler served as Sole Manager of Alliance College-Ready Public Schools (“Alliance”) $34,755,000 issuance of “BBB” rated Charter School Revenue Bonds, Series 2024 through the California School Finance Authority. Proceeds of the Series 2024 Bonds were used to finance or refinance the acquisition, construction, expansion, remodeling, renovation, improvement, furnishing and/or equipping of certain public charter School facilities (Neuwirth Leadership Academy, Gertz-Ressler/Richard Merkin 6-12, Collins Family High School, Luskin High School and Stern MASS High School) and to pay cost of issuance. The 2024 bonds refinanced the 2012A and 2013A bonds that were previously issued by Alliance.
About Alliance College-Ready Public Schools
Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation with over 30 years of history pursuing education excellence for all public school students in Los Angeles. Alliance opened its first charter high school, Alliance Gertz-Ressler High School in 2004. Alliance evolved into a nonprofit charter management organization working to create a network of small, high performing public charter schools serving grades 6-12 in some of the neediest areas of Los Angeles. Today, Alliance provides administrative services to 23 high-performing public charter schools with approximately 12,300 students all located within the boundaries of LAUSD.
