Jeffrey C. Fivecoat

Jeff Fivecoat joined Piper Sandler in 2015, bringing decades of healthcare and senior living financing expertise to the Piper Sandler public finance team. Before joining Piper Sandler, Fivecoat served as an investment banking director focusing on healthcare debt transactions, a system director of finance for a large healthcare system and a financial planning consultant for another large healthcare system.

Fivecoat’s experience includes providing strategic capital advice and executing a full complement of financing solutions for healthcare and senior living borrowers, including tax-exempt and taxable, fixed- and floating-rate structures through both private placements and public offerings. He has extensive experience assisting clients with long-range capital plans, debt capacity analysis, rating agency strategy and investor communication strategies. He also has significant experience with the USDA and FHA 242 programs.

Fivecoat graduated cum laude with honors in economics from Colgate University and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Ohio State University. He holds Series 7, 50 and 53 securities licenses.
