Wei Min Li, CMT

Wei Min Li is a managing director in fixed income at Piper Sandler, overseeing strategy and analytics for the non-depository sector. He has 15 years of experience in the fixed income capital markets and specializes in quantitative research, advanced data science modeling and the development of proprietary analytic tools. Li frequently publishes market strategy pieces covering treasury technicals, agency and municipal bonds. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in data science with a specialization in artificial intelligence at Northwestern University. Li holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation and is an active member of the CMT Association. He is also a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
